Hello everyone! Kumusta kayong lahat!! Another week has flown by! It's been a great one for me :)

New Years was so much fun! We celebrated it with my favorite family here the Pillos, there was a ton of food, karaoke and lots of friends. Probably one of the most fun times I've had so far. I'll attach some pictures..

Here's a quick story from this week, we had interviews with president and so he came to Abulug. I was in charge of the key to the meetinghouse, and it was in my pocket. But later in the day I realized it actually WASN'T in my pocket.. So I lost the key to the meetinghouse.. I had to apologize to the members and the branch president. I felt so stupid.. and then I lost the receipt to the electricity bill that we needed to pay (It was in my other pocket) IN THE SAME DAY... I honestly felt so done with myself. We were out trying to talk to people and I just felt so stupid, dumb, and anxious.

This scripture sums up some lessons I've learned this week:

"Therefore we did pour out our souls in prayer to God, that he would strengthen us and deliver us... Yea, and it came to pass that the Lord our God did visit us with assurances that he would deliver us; yea, insomuch that he did speak peace to our souls, and did grant unto us great faith, and did cause us that we should hope for our deliverance in him." Alma 58:10-11

I spent a lot of time trying to pour out my soul to God. I felt so overwhelmed with physical/emotional challenges. The language wasn't seeming to be working anymore. As you all may know, I have been struggling a little bit. But, I have been slowly turning a corner and learning to truly actually rely on the Lord. And I know that he has given my assurances and peace that I can get through this with his help. I will be able to overcome through His power and help.

I am so very thankful for the strength, peace, and hope that comes through Jesus Christ.

Back to the day when I lost the key! Me and Elder Abarabar were walking to the meetinghouse when all of the sudden a UV van stops on the road and the man in there shouts "BROTHERS!" It turns out that van was the same van that we had taken earlier that morning, *coincidentally* the same van I had lost the key in. It had fallen out of my pocket while I was in the van! He then told us that he dropped the key of at the store across the street from our house!

It was truly a miracle. I was honestly shocked. I had been praying all day that the key would somehow magically show up in my bag or my pocket again, but I was still so anxious and worried. Elder Abarabar taught me a lesson that day. Right after we got the key back, he said something like "I wasn't worried at all. We just need to have faith and work, he will make up the difference for our mistakes"

God truly makes up the difference, He strengthens us and gives us peace as we have Faith in Him and work. I love Him and I'm so grateful for this miracle.

Love you all!! Make it a great week :)
