Hello everyone!! Hope you all had a great week! :) It's been a great one for me. Week number dalawa down in San Juan. I'm loving it, and kicking up some good times with Elder Fuller!

This week hasn't been perfect though! Of course haha. Elder Fuller has been struggling with some bad stomach pain with a stomach ulcer. I've really tried to help him but my help is pretty limited. He's such a good example for me of wanting to just have faith and work through the pain.

Upon arriving in San Juan, I was really impressed with what Elder Fuller has been telling me about the investigators. There are a lot of investigators here that have been taught all the lessons, have baptismal dates, yet they aren't coming to church consistently enough to get baptized. Without consistent (4 times) church attendance, they can't get baptized yet, despite their great desire. We have quite a few of these types of people we're teaching.

As we have prayerfully discussed and analyzed how to solve this concern, we came up with some actually good ideas that we're implementing. We've already seen a great difference. This scripture in the Book of Mormon stuck out to me as I was studying this problem:

"And there began to be men inspired from heaven and sent forth, standing among the people in all the land, preaching and testifying boldly of the sins and iniquities of the people, and testifying unto them concerning the redemption which the Lord would make for his people, or in other words, the resurrection of Christ; and they did testify boldly of his death and sufferings."

I'm trying to testify boldly of the gospel of Jesus Christ, of the power of His atonement. We're improving our teaching skills , and created a paper called "Ang Daan sa binyag," basically a visual for our investigators to know what they need to do/be doing to gain a testimony of Jesus Christ and to be baptized in His church. It helped get some of our people to church yesterday which was awesome!!

Improvements are being made. I feel so happy here. Me and Elder fuller spend sometimes even hours every night talking about what we can be doing better, how we can teach better to the people here. I love him and the faith he has in the Lord and in the people. I have felt such a huge boost to focus more of my thoughts on the people here and the work we're doing. I love it.

Love you all!! Make it a great week! :)
