Week 41: Great power

Hello everybody! Kumusta kayong lahat :) This week has been a great one! This week we've received wonderful news that we are now able to call parents!! So I'm super distracted trying to call my family at the same time.. So sorry if this email is super weird... my mind is in a different place honestly hahaha

Anyways this week has been great. Me and Elder Fuller have really been improving our teaching and we've really improved a whole lot. Trying hard to teach by the spirit to help our investigators become truly converted to the Gospel. I love this scripture I read in Ether this week:

"after they had faith, and did speak in thy name, thou didst show thyself unto them in great power." Ether 12:31

A lot of people here have this idea that all churches are good and true, as long as it is about Jesus Christ. We've been trying to be a lot more bold in teaching about the ONE true church of Jesus Christ which holds the fullness of His restored Gospel. At first, I thought it wouldn't go as well as I was a little afraid to be so bold with people who are so much older and wiser than I am. But, as we teach and testify about His Church in His name, the power of the Holy Ghost has come and flooded the hearts of our investigators and touched them, telling them our message is true.

After we have faith, a belief and action, then the POWER comes to teach and testify by the spirit. I'm seeing just how true this really is.

Sorry it's short! Gonna spend a lot more time on my P-day calling my parents and talking to them. Consequently, even less time to email. But it's okay! Family is the most important! :)

Saw this picture of my uncle Elder Jamie Childers back in the day with Nanay Norma. She's the best, she brings us food to eat after church every Sunday.

A Nanay woke up at 4:00 AM to cook us Elders LUNCH.. man so so nice. And delicious! Naimas!

Went to the beach last week which was super fun :)

VALENTINES DAY (Locked heart)

Met this professional artist whose paintings are absolutely mindblowing.. They took my breath away! He gave us a tour of all his artwork.. Very nice man. Gave him a Book of Mormon :)
