Week 42: Perfect Love

Hello everyone!! Kumusta kayong lahat, miss ko kayo!! :) This week has been really good. Anotha one down everybody!!

I've been trying to study/practice on how I can improve my teaching, how to become more like Jesus in my teaching. In my studies, I came across this verse in Moroni 8:16: "Behold, I speak with boldness, having authority from God; and I fear not what man can do; for perfect love casteth out all fear."

The phrase "perfect love' has really impressed me and has been the center of a lot of my thoughts and prayers this week. Is it really possible to develop a "perfect love"? Love is so crucial for teaching and helping people understand God and His plan for them. If we don't feel love, we cannot teach like Christ did. I thought about 4 different aspects of love that are important to have in order to become a great teacher.

1. The Lord

2. Your companion

3. The people

4. Yourself

I think I could spend quite a bit of time explaining each of these, but since I don't have a lot of that, I'll just say that I'm trying really hard to develop this perfect love for each of these categories. Learning a lot. I can already tell a difference, having/striving to have a perfect love really changes our days!!

I love you all, I appreciate all the love you send to me each week. Mahal ko po kayo. My invitation is if you find it hard to feel love for anyone of these 4, pray for it. Pray for the perfect love to fill you, to feel the love of Christ. For the Lord, for your family, a coworker, or yourself. It's so important to feel love. It changes everything :)
