Hello everyone!! It's been a great week. I'm loving the work right now. We've had a lot of great opportunities lately of working with members. The Cabugao branch is awesome and so excited to do missionary work! :)

I love Elder Saberdo. He's a great missionary and and great friend. We're getting along great, and both learning a lot from each other. We're surviving together in this far hot land. Hahah.

Not everyday is perfect. (of course) I kinda thought that if I made it this far in my mission the hardships and challenges would just stop and I'd be happy 100% of the time. I am happy, but we'd all be kidding ourselves if we ignorantly said life is good every second of every day. To be honest, sometimes life is a challenge!

I remember something that my companions in Wisconsin used to tell me, "you gotta trust the process bro!" haha. it's so true. The gospel of change/daily repentance is a process, we gotta trust it! Having optimistic faith is crucial.

Our mission is beginning a new focus on "Exact Obedience". I've thought about how important obedience to God's commandments is, it's the first law of heaven!

I love in the life of Jesus Christ, he is asked what the greatest commandment is that we need to follow. He answered: to Love God, and to love others.

I recently finished the Book of Mormon, and started the Doctrine and Covenants as part of my personal study. I love this verse I read yesterday:

"A great and marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men. Behold, I speak unto you, and also to all those who have desires to bring forth and establish this work;

And no one can assist in this work except he shall be humble and full of love, having faith, hope, and charity, being temperate in all things, whatsoever shall be entrusted to his care."

I am convinced that humility and love are the two keys to happiness in life. I think every relationship we have with family/friends/spouse could improve so much if we were humble and full of love for others. I've been trying to be obedient to the greatest commandment by trying to develop a perfect

love for God and for others. His perfect love for me is something I am forever grateful for.

Love you all!! Make it a great week, love others :)
