Hello everyone!! This week was really good. I think this was one of the most happiest weeks I've had on my mission so far. Me and Elder Hall are getting along really, really well and we're doing some great work. The work is progressing in Batac. The fire is going :)

This is a head of a lizard thing on the street that we saw. It's supposed to be pretty good to eat. I might ask around a little but to see where I should go to try some haha.

We had a great FHE/birthday party with the blind kids again. They are awesome and are happy when we teach them. Hopefully we can help them progress. It's kinda tricky teaching someone who cannot see, but we're adjusting the lessons to fit their needs.

My glorious Sunday dinner. Delicious.

Sorry not a lot of pictures again. I'll have to do better at that. But anyways it's been a really good week for me. I'm happy :) I'm really liking my time here in Batac. I think that my mission has never been so much fun/fulfilling up until now.
I'm liking my study in the Old Testament. I thought a lot actually about these verses in Joshua.
"21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the Lord.
22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the Lord, to serve him. And
they said, We are witnesses.
23 Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel.
24 And the people said unto Joshua, The Lord our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey."
I thought a lot about what it really means to "incline your heart" to God. My housemate has an English dictionary that I used to look up the word "incline", the first definition that came up was to "bow". The first thing I think about what I imagine my heart bowing to God is humility. The humility to serve God and to follow Him through everything is key in our personal conversion and in our desires to share the gospel with others. If we aren't humble enough to incline or to bow our heart to God, we could be pridefully following after our own selfish desires.
I know that the humility to follow God and to trust in Him will bless us so much.
Well that's my week. I hope and pray that you all are drawing close to God through your hard times.
Love you all!
