Exchange with Elder Crandall from Vigan. He's from Spokane Washington and actually has been to my high school dozens of times for cross country. It was a fun time with him.

Zone Conference pictures!! Good friends. Me and Elder Wilson giving our training.

Well it's been a great week. So, so fast. 6 months from now, I'll be done! Time to grind, I'm working harder than ever. I love it here in Laoag with Elder Wilson. This is the happiest time in my mission so far :)

My mission president challenged us to read the gospels by Christmas. I love the New Testament, and the stories about Jesus. I find them very applicable to my life. This story really hit me yesterday when I read it. I'm sure you all remember when Jesus feeds thousands of people with a few loaves of bread and some fish. It's a miracle. I typed out the verses for you all.

"and they say unto him, We have here but two fishes. He said, Bring them hither to me.

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitude.

And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children." Matthew 14:17-21

I thought about this story, and I kinda pondered about the expectation that was placed on Jesus's disciples in feeding the people. The thousands of people must've been overwhelming to them, especially when they only had their small portions of bread and fish.

Sometimes we all have some big expectations placed on us. Whether it's feeding lots of people, being an example for others, teaching, leading, answering questions.. whatever it is, expectations can be overwhelming.

I love what the Savior says in this story, "bring them hither to me." Whatever the expectations be upon us, if we bring our very best to Him, he will make up the difference. I know that if we try our hardest to improve and to become better, we don't need to feel overwhelmed because He is always there to walk with us.

I know that God loves us and is aware of everything in our lives. He loves us so much.

Have a great week everyone!! Take care <3
