Hello everybody! This week has been another good one. It's been the most normal one of the whole cycle, we only had one exchange so I had a lot of time to work with Elder Wilson which was really nice. I love working with him.
We've found a lot of really cool people this week. We had 10 people come to church on Sunday, two families that we just taught for the first time this week! I was really happy about that :) The work is going really well. We're continuing to focus on finding those who are ready to act on the message. Those who are ready to act are those who will accept our invitation to come to church.
We invite everyone we meet to church! And we're seeing cool things from it - people who are ready to change just come, and they bring others. It's a really exciting and busy time for me right now.
I've been studying the New Testament and I read this scripture again this week, I think it's one of my favorites ever taught by the Savior. Jesus teaches: "But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted."
I love how Christ teaches us the importance of humility, love and service. This scripture speaks a lot accompanied with His perfect example of service and love, even to those who hated and persecuted him. I'm grateful for the example of the Savior and for this chance to use my time and my resources to follow His example in service and love. Even with rejection, opposition and trials, I have grown to love my mission.
I'm trying to make the most out of the time I have left - there is more work to do. There are more lives to change.
My life is certainly one.
Have a great week everybody <3

We spent some time taking one of the families we're teaching to the city offices to get their paperwork done for their marriage. They're getting married this next week and also baptized! I'm really excited about that :) At the city office, I spied one of the Family proclamations - framed for all to see. The family is important to the Filipinos and also to God. If you haven't read the proclamation yet, I'll attach it so you can :)
