Week 85: The Joy of my Labors

Hello everyone!! This week has been a fun one for me. We just had transfers this last week. I'm now with my new companion, Elder Burton! I love him so much. We were housemates way back in the day in my first area, Abulug. We're getting along really well and I think we'll have a great time :)

We've been hitting it hard in our first week together here in Laoag. It's all about the work. I learn day after day that the work is really the only thing that makes me happy, sharing and seeing people change their lives.

In regards to the season, I have to wish you all a huge MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I hope this year's Christmas finds you warm, happy and with family and friends. As for me, I am finding my joy through the work of inviting people to repent and change. I love it. Each week feels so fulfilling and like the best week of my life. I feel like I can relate a little bit with Alma when he wrote this:

"yea, and now behold, the Lord doth give me exceedingly great joy in the fruit of my labors." Alma 36:25

I'm doing great. I love my mission. I wish you all the greatest joy this week!

Met this family this week - they had a sweet car and also have a ton of relatives in Seattle Washington. I had to take a picture with this guy in his Russell Wilson jersey hahah
