It's been a great week! This probably was one of the greatest and most fulfilling weeks of my mission. 4 of the people we're teaching were baptized along with 21 people came to sacrament meeting. I'm so happy. I've loved teaching this family that just got baptized. I loved hearing her testimony about what she learned and felt from us teaching her. She said that the day we came into her house the feeling changed from stressed and confusing to peace and calm. Even though she has twins and a toddler she finds a way to come to church. She said that ever since the gospel had come into her life she has been filled with light. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the effect of the restored gospel on the lives of my new friends here in the Philippines. I love my mission. I love the process.
Here's some pics from my week:

On New Year's Eve we had the Batac Zone Leaders over for exchanges, also ordered a bunch of pizza and had a great time partying until around 10:23 when we all went to bed. Only to be woken up by screams, fireworks and motorcycles pulling sheets of metal across the street.

Fulfilled my new years goal on day 1: to find and hold a live chicken. The owner offered to cook it up for us but we passed, we had an appointment to get to.

Today we went and visited the Nanay who just got baptized. She's awesome :) She gave me her coke zero because she wanted to buy a Sting instead.

Well, it's been a great week. A great start to a new year. I hope you all are doing well and that this year finds you happy, safe, and inspired to CHANGE.
love you all.
