This was another great week!! :) I learned a lot. We grinded some more exchanges with Zone Leaders with is always fun. I'm loving the area and the people that we are teaching right now. Every single person we are teaching is progressing towards the covenant path to God. Every day I just think about how much I love these people and I love life.

On Saturday we went out in the morning at 9:00 am and didn't come home until a little after 9:30. It was one of those days that felt so fast and so good that the time didn't mean anything at all. Every Saturday we always go to all the people we find that week and the ones we've been teaching and invite them to come to church the next day. I love it. It's the best day of the week. That night we had a combined 27 people that had committed to come to church.. 15 of them came which made me happy :)

The more I'm out here the more I realize that my mission is not about the numbers. It's not about the amount of hours we can pound into a day or the amount of people we can meet in an hour. I didn't come on a mission to do that.

For the first time in my mission, I feel like I am truly crying to this people to change - to repent. To get out of their lazy habits, stand up, and go DO something that will bring you closer to God.

I read a great story this week I'll share a verse from it:

"And now it came to pass that when Alma had said these words unto them, he stretched forth his hand unto them and cried with a mighty voice, saying: Now is the time to repent, for the day of salvation draweth nigh." Alma 13:20

I know that NOW is the time for us to act and to change. That's what God wants for us - to become as He is. We will not and cannot do that if we just keep saying "maybe next time" or "I'll think about it". The time is now. We can choose to accept it or not, the day of salvation is NIGH!

Not exactly sure what "nigh" means but I think we can infer that it means we all need to change and to do better to prepare for the return of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Love you all - let's act now!

We were following up with someone who said she wanted to come to church -- and Elder Burton got pooped on by a bird. So he grabbed their rain jacket while we finished talking with her
