This week has flown by! Hahaha I know I always start off by saying how fast time is flying but it’s so true. I can’t believe it’s March already! That’s just crazy. What comes after March...? Oh yeah.. April :))
This week was really good!! And also bad. Of course hahahah there has to be bad to be good. And I’m learning that it’s okay to have lows and highs. It’s all about the direction we’re headed.
Going off of the “lows” I mentioned, I think Tuesday was one of the worst days I’ve had here in my time in Laoag. Everything just seemed to go not as planned and even our backup plans failed!! We were supposed to have an exchange with some zone leaders, they came and then one of them told us that he was sick and couldn’t work so we sent them to the hospital to get medicine (he had something called tonsillitis.. ouch) and then we sent them home on the earlier bus. Me and Elder Burton worked the day together and we were honestly a little stressed trying to get to everyone... but no one was there all day long. Instead of just talking to new people, we stressed ourselves out a little too much by trying to run all over our area to see the people we had been teaching. At the days end, we had talked to NO ONE! It left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I promised God I would never waste a day like that again in my mission.
The rest of the week was so much better. Largely because I humbled myself and changed my attitude and turned outside to talk to others - a lot of those I didn’t know. I learned once again just how important it is to talk to everyone, even if you have ‘solid’ appointments to get to..hah.
There are lows and highs in every day - but the most IMPORTANT thing is the direction we are going. It's not about where you've been but where you're going :)
here's some pics from my week.

We had a family home evening at my recent converts house, we included Elder and Sister Ward. It was so much fun - food, games and a cool lesson.

we were late past curfew so we ran like over a mile home and had a chicken nugget party.
